Who We Are
Asher Comprehensive Training Center, Inc. is located on the Southside of Richmond, Virginia. We are approved by the Commonwealth of Virginia, Dept. of Health Professions Board of Nursing and the Dept. of Social Services Division, to offer training to individuals interested in becoming Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nurse Aides, Registered Medication Aides, and Personal/Direct Care Aides. We hold the recognition described in section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
We are listed as a training provider with State and Local Agencies such as: Virginia Employment Commission, Resource Workforce Center's Workforce Investment Act Program, Department of Rehabilitative Services, Department of Social Services, Department of Richmond Redevelopment and Housing, and Goodwill Industries. We are also approved by the State for GI Bill Benefits. We also partner with public/privately owned facilities, and have trained staff members from Beth Sholom Gardens, Bon Secours Health Systems, VCU Health Systems, Johnston Willis Hospital, Lucy Corr Village, and numerous others.
Asher is also a testing site for the Nurse Aide Board.
