PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
The Asher Comprehensive Training Center's MAT training program is an ( 8) eight hours medication administration training course for administration of prescribed medication in child day programs. The curriculum is approved by the Virginia Board of Nursing and the Virginia Department of Social Services.
Upon successfully completing a total of eight (8) hours a certificate of completion is issued. This certificate is valid for (3) three years from the issue date, however, interim refresher training practice demonstrations are required annually.
